June News from the Session
The session has been meeting informally this June gathering facts as to how other churches in our area meet the needs of the Youth. We will meet formally in a special session meeting on July 10, 2007, to formalize our discussion. Our youth are a very important part of our church and the future of our church. As many of you know Randy and Jackie Tyner will no longer be teaching the youth Sunday school or leading the Youth Group. We are in search of the person or persons to step up and serve in this ministry. We must keep in mind as we serve the youth they in turn may serve us one day as our bodies grow tired and weak. They are the future. Let us all search inside ourselves and see if the Lord is leading us to step forward and serve them now. If you are feeling lead to help with this ministry then please let Sung or one of the Elders know. Our hope is the have new people in place by September.
Keep Christ in your summer See Him in all the places you travel Let His love shine from you to others And may the Holy Spirit be your guide ____________________________________________________ DEACON’S CORNER The Board of Deacons met Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at Janice Kingsley’s home. ____________________________________________________ Trustee’s Newsletter July 2007 The Trustees are in Summer mode. We have sprayed for ants for the second time this season. The lattice work around the outside fire escape stairway was repaired. The weeds immediately around the barn were cut as was the grass in the lower part of the field. The Trustees have been unable to find a landscaping company to mow the field and would like any suggestions from the congregation to help us in this project. Please contact a Trustee if you know of any mowing contractors who might be able to cut our field on a regular basis. ___________________________________________________________________________ Vacation Bible School There will be no VBS this summer. We will do a weekend Bible School for the kids in September with the Oneida Church. _________________________________________________________________________________________________

CHUCKLE CORNER KIDS IN CHURCH… Attending a wedding for the first time, a little girl whispered to her mother, "Why is the bride dressed in white?" "Because white is the color of happiness, and today is the happiest day of her life." The child thought about this for a moment, then said "So why is the groom wearing black?"
A little girl, dressed in her Sunday best, was running as fast as she could, trying not to be late for Bible class. As she ran she prayed, "Dear Lord, please don't let me be late! Dear Lord, please don't let me be late!" While she was running and praying, she tripped on a curb and fell, getting her clothes dirty and tearing her dress. She got up, brushed herself off, and started running again. As she ran she once again began to pray, "Dear Lord, please don't let me be late...But please don't shove me either!" _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ FORGIVING ATTENTIVE TEACHER HELPFUL ENERGETIC READY
“Some fathers play golf, Some fathers do cookoffs, But don’t think twice, About being so nice, Because you already are!”

What Makes A Dad By Author Unknown
God took the strength of a mountain, The majesty of a tree, The warmth of a summer sun, The calm of a quiet sea,
The generous soul of nature, The comforting arm of night, The wisdom of the ages, The power of the eagle’s flight,
The joy of a morning in spring, The faith of a mustard seed, The patience of eternity, The depth of a family need,
Then God combined these qualities, When there was nothing more to add, He knew His masterpiece was complete, And so, He called it….Dad
In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen! ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ SUNDAY MORNING MINISTRIES/ July 2007 Greeters 1 N/A 2 N/A 3 N/A 4 N/A 29 N/A Ushers 1 Ed & Emily, Doug K. 2 Doug & LouAnn, Lou & Colleen 3 Lou & Colleen, Rodger & Chris 4 Rodger & Chris, Andy H. 29 Andy H., Bruno & Elsa Coffee Hour Tithe Counters 1 volunteers needed 1 Lou Russell, Will Wiesner 8 volunteers needed 8 Linda Auffredou, Diana Berrigan 15 Kathy O’Day, Becky Clarke 15 Chip Collin, Janice Holding 22 volunteers needed 22 LouAnn Holt, Skip LaRose 29 Lois Stone 29 Sharon Meinrenken, John Murphy
